When I met with our production team many months ago, I shared my vision that every aspect of our production would emphasize the central theme of love and relationships. At its heart, this story is about the eternal nature of sisterly love, and everything that comes with building a true relationship.

Theatre is fundamentally about building relationships and making connections. The trust, communication, and support we explore in the script are the exact same values we rely on behind the scenes to bring a show like this to life.

Those connections are on full display tonight. Our design and construction teams worked tirelessly to build the physical world you see on stage, translating early concept ideas into stunning reality. Alongside them, our cast, crew, and production team have given 100% during the planning and rehearsal process, growing closer as a collective with every passing week. This dedication is matched by our incredible Board members. Whether we are staging full Broadway productions (like this one), putting on music revues, or showcasing our youth in our Future Stars Concerts, our Board members play active roles in every single project—working as cast, crew, fundraisers, and production team members. As a member of this Board myself, I am deeply grateful for how hard each individual works to keep our company going.

Our relationships span generations, too. This show marks an exciting first for us, as we welcomed actors under the age of 14 into the company. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them. They, along with our incredible teenagers and adult cast members, form a wonderful mix of new faces and returning participants. To all of the families—the parents of our youngest performers, the families of our teens, and the support network of our older cast members—thank you. Your support, patience, and encouragement are the backbone of our theatre family.

Operating a small-town amateur theatre company relies entirely on the relationships we build. Those relationships extend deeply into our community through our company sponsors and community supporters, whose generosity and belief in our mission make a production of this scale possible. We are profoundly grateful for their support, and equally thankful for every audience member. Whether you are here to cheer on a specific member of our cast, crew, or production team, or simply to champion the live arts, you belong here. Stories only truly come alive when they are shared, and your presence tonight is what brings this performance to life. Thank you for stepping in from the July heat just to be ‘Frozen’—a bold choice given the long winter we just experienced. I hope that you enjoy the journey you are about to take as we open the gates and let the magic begin!
