Georgian Bay Musical Theatre Company (GBMTC), formerly known as Triple Threat Summer Company, is looking for your support. Triple Threat Summer Company brought the very successful and sold out run of the musical ‘RENT’ to Midland in 2013. Since our company’s incorporation in 2015 we produced a sold out run of the musical ‘LEGALLY BLONDE’ during the summer 2015, another sold out run of the musical ‘ROCK OF AGES’ in 2017 and then again in 2019 with ‘MAMMA MIA”. Our company’s Board consists of the following members from our local arts community: Lori-Ann Clancy, Amanda Clarke, Nate Lacroix, Christoph Boker, Stephanie Gendron, and Shelley Barry.
GBMTC is a not for profit organisation that brings contemporary Broadway musicals to Central Ontario. These productions are intentionally geared towards developing a younger generation of theatre enthusiasts here at home. Our objective is to encourage young adults to be involved in all aspects of theatre, including stage performers and musicians, as well as technical crew, stage crew and/or production staff members. We anticipate that each production will involve a minimum of 50 community members. In order to bring high calibre productions to our community, we are asking you to consider being one of our sponsors.
If you are interested in being a sponsor of GBMTC, we have three options for you to choose from:
TRIPLE THREAT
You receive: Complimentary tickets to a designated special sponsor performance for the lifetime of GBMTC. Recognition on the GBMTC website with logo and link to your website and in every GBMTC production program and logo/name on the GBMTC production poster.
Your Donation: $3000
DOUBLE THREAT
You receive: Complimentary tickets to a designated special sponsor performance for the lifetime of GBMTC. Recognition on the GBMTC website and in the GBMTC production program.
Your Donation: $1500
SINGLE THREAT
You receive: Complimentary tickets to a designated special sponsor performance for the lifetime of GBMTC. Recognition on the GBMTC website and in the GBMTC production program.
Your Donation: $500
What will your investment cover?
Rental of the theatre space for rehearsals and performances at the Midland Cultural Centre, production licences (rights, royalties, music and script rentals), insurance policy, set construction, costumes/makeup, props, music instrument rental, sound and lighting equipment rental. Our annual expenses have been $25,000 – $30,000.
Help us make a difference in our community by igniting the fire of musical theatre in the 18 to 35 year old demographic, maintaining that fire for the 35+ age group and inspiring those under the age of 18 to feel the same passion. If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact me as soon as possible and let me know which of the three options you have chosen. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Lori-Ann Clancy
